The Official Hate on JP Prince Thread

JP has his occasional good game, but his play has a lot to be desired. When is playing good he can really help the team. The problem is , he takes a lot of games off and really hurts the team. I think we won't miss him that much next year. Chism is the player we will miss the most.

I agree fully that Chism will be very hard to replace and we currently have no one nearly as good. However, Prince is good defensively, is good a driving to the hole and distributes the ball well. Unfortunately, he has never been able to develop a shot.

At least he drives to the basket. He's not as good as we'd hoped, but it's better than watching them stand around the perimeter practicing passing.

JP is a net loss. He'll be great sometimes, but horrible other times.

The dunk tech was a perfect representation of this. He dunked, got us two points, turned (kept) the momentum for our team, riled up the crowd........ THEN he goes JP Prince on us and retardedly hangs on the rim and does 28 pull ups which resulted in a technical which reversed anything positive that resulted from the original dunk.

He should have already had 4-5 techs from hanging on the rim this year. I'm surprised he's gone this long without getting on yet. But the thing that bothers me the most about him, is how he ALWAYS has to do something after scoring. He's either screaming and saluting while the opposing team has already inbounded and is halfway down court or mean mugging the opposing team after making a layup instead of setting up and focusing on defense. He's the epitome of a ME player. SHUT UP AND PLAY! His antics are ridiculous and embarrassing for the program.

This is why I’ll be glad to see him graduate.

We might miss Chism, but only every third game.

prince is an AWFUL shooter, but he is ok when he drives to the basket. But, he has to realize that he should only take point blank shot, any shot farther than about 5 feet away is a brick
