If you can't lay off that first pitch in the AB, then you need to be hard take on 0-0 count. Until your opponents commit to fastball first pitch — then crush it. You have 3 strikes to give, don't give the pitcher a free one.

The swing on 0-2, tho, I understand. But turning what would have been 1-1 into 0-2 is what got him there.
