alot of very good points, but i remember a Richmond duel between Gordon and Burton several years ago. Gordon kept diving under Burton as Busch was doing, BUT he had the sense to rightfully let up and try again in the next corner. it made for an exciting finish. after the race, Burton pointedly thanked Gordon for racing him clean. rbroyles is right about using the brake. that could have easily been the finish of the year, but was reduced to unmentionable. kyle bush hasnt figured that out yet. he is obsessessed with winning races. Gordon raced like that in the beginning and still pays the price, as far as fans go. Earnhardt Sr. raced like that too, but he was Earnhardt Sr., enough said. Bush is setting his legacy. at best, he may inherit the crown of "Mr. Excitement," but "Mr. Excitement's" exit from the race car was never really a big deal. just my thoughts....
When Kyle got inside him I said OUT LOADlol:everyone has their own opinion, thats why there is a poll and 3 different threads about this... Im just saying when Kyle got inside of him I said out load "Kyles going to wreck him"... he has a reputation of wrecking ppl in all 3 nascar series.. if it was someone else I would say yeah, its a racing thing... but its Kyle Busch so I blame him..
NopeI don't see how you can think that Bill, he did lose the car inside of Jr. due to more speed than the turn would hold. I give some blame to Jr. for trying to pinch him down, but that is a normal manuever in that situation. Both share the blame with about 70% Kyle.
To me it is because JR. should have known what would happen if he pinched.I don't see how you can think that Bill, he did lose the car inside of Jr. due to more speed than the turn would hold. I give some blame to Jr. for trying to pinch him down, but that is a normal manuever in that situation. Both share the blame with about 70% Kyle.
i seem to recall an incident where by Junior spun a driver racing for the lead at the end of a Busch race-Carl Edwards to be exact. Junior could have let off before he got into Edwards and Edwards could have given some more room up high for the run Junior had.
Junior wins, Edwards loses. it was just a racing deal said Junior nation.
Saturday, a similar situation (both drivers could have given more room) occurs and the lynch mob is in full effect in Delusionville ready to come after the 18.
