thanks for the extra tomahawks my wife was able to grab from you fans that threw them down after about inning number 4 Thursday night (after already conceding the series by that point). worked out nicely being able to grab an extra to make that sign this morning.

Good luck the rest of the way. With the Yankees being out, I guess the Dodgers are all you've got left. Unless the Red Sox are one of your teams now too? They've probably been winning long enough.

A bandwagon fan is someone who jumps on a team just as they're getting good. That's not you. A frontrunner (or "glory hunter"), rather, is someone who arbitrarily adopts a good team from somewhere else as his own. These guys are easy to spot in America because their favorite team in every sport just happens to be one of the popular/public teams, leading to combinations like Yankees/Cowboys/Bulls fan, etc. Dodgers/Duke/Redskins is right in that wheelhouse. If you're going to live the life, you at least need to know the terminology.

Perhaps, but I'm just snarking at some nimrod on the Internet. You apparently gathered up a foam tomahawk and carried it all the way home, purely to post on some crappy looking homemade sign, presumably to taunt actual Braves fans in person.
