Yes…Chapman has had his chances and not done as much with them as I would like…I don’t see a reason he gets in before Backus or Bargo in the short term

I was hoping to give KT a full night off and leave Backus in for some experience. Pressure ABs would have been good for his development and he’s been on fire at the plate dur8ng his limited opportunities

Tears needs to learn to shorten the swing with 2 strikes. It’s the same kill the ball swing for the entire count

every at bat anymore. When we are bad we put ourselves behind in the count and then over swing instead of contact or swing at bad balls alot. Not just KT. Our outs are bad outs mostly strike outs too.

Takes a few abs to catch up to it. When you’re used to seeing SEC level pitching, the junk can really mess with you as a batter.

Would have liked to see that myself…was a little premature to make the move when we did. If we needed KT later…like in the Chapman spot in 7th could have inserted him then and kept Backus in lineup
