We have 4 or 5 guys that are really struggling offensively and tonight our pitching wasn’t very good , one thing is for sure we won’t go to Florida over confident , I know you can’t win em all but this is a bad loss to a below average team

We flirted with disaster all series against Mizzou. We hadn’t been playing well lately so a loss like this was bound to catch up to us. Most important thing now is just for this to motivate the team, get them angry, and get things back on track. A loss like this can be a good thing if it helps the team reset and get that hunger back that seemed to be missing for a few games.

Bad loss for the diamond Vols. Lots of long outs. Not sure what to think about this loss however the Vols bullpen needs to get better and the Vols have tended to leave my on base regularly the past cpl seasons.

Hopefully this loss will refocus the team for a strong finish.
