Give him a raise and a new title. DC!
Who cares about his past he has learned a ton since then and could be great just give him a shot.

Lets face it with out LT we are nothing on the recruiting trail and a failure as a football program.

LT, Thanks for sticking with UT even through all this crap.

Just a little over the top.

I like the guy, but I don't exactly think we're nothing as a program without him. I would save that moniker for the General.

Sincerely,

He is a good coach and a great recruiter-but he is replaceable!
Why does everyone assume that he would even want that position- he makes good money now and does not have to listen to crap from the fans!

I know LT has made a mistake or two but so have I. I like the man and his willingness to stick it out thru the last 2 years. He recruits Georgia and CDD knows that area is critical for our program. One BIG plus for LT in my book is that his distaste for "little lane" is second to none. IMO he deserves consideration for that reason alone.

I say promote LT (if he can pass the count to eleven test) and then make another call to Garner.

Why in the HELL would you hand over the defense to someone who has only DC'd at podunk college in Florida?

This staff needs the best it can get right now at all positions. He is a solid LB coach and a good recruiter. Leave him where he belongs.

What's funny is that he left Saban and I don't think Bama went down. I actually think Eddie Gran was a better recruiter. But there a lot of good recruiters out there. Glad to have LT here but he's not the linchpin of our program.
