The Official make fun of the Cleveland Browns Thread

I am sooooo over Myles Garrett. I am so done with this kid. I'm really getting worked up. You cannot go 30 seconds without hearing this guys name in Ohio. There is way, way, wayyyyy too much hype being thrown around here. I swear his agent is paying off espn. Why wouldn't he?

You would think there are no other pass rushers in the draft or something. The Cleveland Browns are about to do it again. And around the hampster wheel we go.

If you guys want to get a sense of the confusion and angst happening in Cleveland check out the podcast of "the really big show" in Cleveland this morning. Also available on the ESPN app. 850 AM Cleveland. It's time.

It's going to be a garbage fire no matter who Cleveland takes. It's probably Garrett. But if it's a QB, he will go the way of the previous 28 qb's at Cleveland.

Oh my, the respected insiders just got on air and dropped a bombshell. Trubisky at 1 and macCaffery at 12 according to insider information. Cleveland is losing their minds.

9 defensive "transformative, generational, special" players taken in the first round by the Browns since 2000. How's that worked out?

I just googled "how does a doctor say going poop" for my daughter. The answer... and I chit you not, "Dropping the Browns off at the super bowl."

That is absolutely true.

So funny story...last year I took some out of friends to Swiftys Atomic Grill to watch some Sunday football. We got there about noon and there was already a table there watching the Titans/Browns game on one of the big screens. At the table was a dude fitted out in Browns gear, sweats and a pullover, drunk as a skunk and yelling profanities at the TV. Well we were just laughing at him but a guy showed up with his family and told the guy to shut up. Almost resulted in fisticuffs. I just remember my friends and I saying that it just really suck to be a Browns fan.

Was he a lone wolf ?

ESPN -Tyvis Powell throws out first pitch at Indians game hours after Browns release

The Cleveland Browns waived safety Tyvis Powell on Friday, just hours before he threw out the first pitch at a Chicago White Sox-Cleveland Indians game at Progressive Field.

The Browns were not aware that Powell was scheduled to throw out the first pitch until after the roster move was made, a team spokesman confirmed to ESPN.

Powell is a native of Bedford, Ohio, a Cleveland suburb, and played college football at Ohio State. He joined the Browns on waivers from the Seahawks on Feb. 6, after appearing in eight games as rookie with Seattle last season.

Who ? Myles Garrett would have been a better choice, but its Cleveland

Kid who grew up in Cleveland and signed with the Buckeyes as a 3-star recruit in 2012 before playing as a safety and starting for them all of the 2014 and 2015 seasons. He was Defensive MVP of OSU's National Championship game against Oregon Ducks. He had just been signed by the Browns in the offseason. He was there to throw the opening pitch as part of some sort of Buckeyes group event.

It seems to be more about the Browns' mind-boggling carelessness - especially in what's a professional-level business - with how they made the move; there was likely easy access to finding out something like that and not taking (or considering taking) the short amount of time to do so just caused themselves to receive more easily avoided bad press.

Also, Myles Garrett already threw out the opening pitch at the April 28th Indians game, after being drafted by the Browns.
