The Official make fun of the Cleveland Browns Thread

If I'm the Browns I'm more concerned with 2023 than this season. If these things go to trial, all kinds of things may come out and that has the potential to impact 2023, 'cause it won't go to trial 'till next year

I kinda feel like he may never play again. Ray Rice was suspended for a season and never played again.

Apparently, the Browns did no due diligence and this might be the ultimate Browns disaster. They finally had a top 5 roster and may have sunk the ship.

I for one am glad Jimmy bought the Browns. Tennessee dodges a bullet. And now he expects the city of Cleveland to build a new $1B stadium?

He settled. Haslam is in warpath mode. He wants to unseat Jerry Jones, and is basically telling everyone, "if you can't play the game don't throw in."

I've said it from day one, Jimmy may have no idea what he is doing, but he is willing to spend, and he wants to win. No doubt about that.

Also, Watson looks bigger than I have ever seen him. 😳

First year after buying the Columbu Crew, they won the MLS title.

The crew were a great team before haslam, and so are the blue jackets, but I wouldn't be surprised if he throws in on a renovation of that area as well. The man spends money, and he is highly competitive. That's all I got. He might do some foolish stuff, but eventually you learn.

Jerry Jones and Dan Snyder say hello

With the $10.5 million the Browns agreed to pay to unload him, Mayfield will still be the highest paid Cleveland QB in 2022. He'll be paid more by Cleveland in 2022 than all 3 other QBs still on the Browns roster combined.

I really hope Watson gets a huge suspension from the NFL, but all of this makes me think Haslam has some intel to the contrary. You just don't make those decisions knowing up front they are not going to have a huge chance of success. I don't think they make the deal to get Watson without some behind the scenes info that he will get a slap on the wrist.

Have you seem the Haslams and how they ran coaching searches here (and Cleveland). I'm fairly certain they have no Intel at all...

Ray Rice didn't play again cuz he was washed...

He wasn't worth the PR headache

Greg Hardy, Kareem Hunt, Adrian Petersen, Tyreke Hill all got additional chances
