The Official Mike Trout Thread

His rookie season is comparable to Danny Tartabull's or Wally Joyner's, but they don't have dedicated threads.

please be kidding. this might be the best season he ever has, where everything fell into place... but... please be kidding.

Best post of all time. I don't even have to review the football forum to make that statement. GOAT, walk off, FTW, YOU CAN PUT IT ON THE BOOAARRDD, YEESSS!!

I can't decide what's better..the nonsensical downplaying of Mike Trout or the if he were (yeah, grammar police) black or Hispanic we would ignore him. Cause Jason Heyward got zero hype and attention.

Mike trout has more stolen bases in the last five months than Danny tartabull had in his career.

If Cabrera were a Ginger everyone on this board would be singing his praises, but instead we'll bloviate for weeks about how white Danny Tartabull is better than him.

This board is known worldwide for its hate of Miguel Cabrera, that's for sure.

Plenty of people are talking about Cabrera nationally. This board isn't exactly a perfect representation of baseball fans/media.

Plus Trout is doing stuff at 20 no one in history has ever done, black, white, yellow, or brown.

When Danny tartabull was 20, he was screwing around in Chattanooga. Not putting MVP numbers in the MLB.

Like I said to my wife's dad, age is just a number. But back to the subject, any true fan will admit that Tartabull had more tools than the Home Depot, especially compared to Trout. He's not bad, but not too great either.

That is BS. There has been numerous studies about baseball and age and the younger you perform, the more likely you are to be a stud. Age is a huuuuuge factor is baseball development.

We don't know exactly how he'll perform for the rest of his career. But are you really trying to act like he hasn't been out of this world this season?
