If Valentino Rossi finishes in the top three in Sunday's MotoGP race, he will be the first rider to reach the milestone of 200 podium finishes in grand prix racing.

With his 200th podium finish, Rossi (82pts) now has a 15-point advantage over Andrea Dovizioso (67pts) in the MotoGP World Championship standings whilst Jorge Lorenzo (62pts) has moved into third at the expense of Marquez (56pts).

I need to start watching again. Rossi is the last guy who I watched a decade ago who is still decent. I miss Hayden's championship form/luck.

Nicky Haden was severely injured in an accident. I'm hearing his head injuries may be so severe that he won't recover.

Damn. That's what I was fearing. I loved watching him in 2006. He was a fun racer and great personality. I hope he is able to make a full recovery

This news just had me heartbroken.

Him and Schumacher both. They cheat death so many times, and then get busted up biking and skiing. I hate it.

He's in an induced coma.

I saw a video of the car and the bicycle. I'm amazed he's even alive st this point.

I hope he can pull through
