The Official NASCAR Talk Thread

I'm not sure how random these seizures actually are, but this is my point. I actually heard DW say this first, but when you're cheating make 2 things wrong with the car, one you want Nascar to find and one you don't. Imo the Louveres were supposed to be obvious, this other infraction is what they didn't want found.

Here is how you fix nascar (same as my previous post - with additions)

800+ horsepower
minimum ride heights requiring cars up off the ground. (No side skirts)
Get rid of the rims and one nut and go back to bigger sidewalls on the tire.
Bring back the straight axle. Half the fun is making the car turn and everyone can with the irs.
get rid of the huge spoilers everywhere.
No single supplier of parts, let the teams build their cars.
Get rid of the phantom cautions.
short tracks are the key.

This will create competition and better racing, as everyone will be pushing the limit.

Want to make money? Don’t wreck cars and be smart while driving fast. The kids and some of the older guys don’t respect the work that goes into it.

These cars are not meant for dirt.

Many drivers (I would think), would not have ever raced dirt if dreams were to go to Cup. You head to an asphalt short track.

May be just me but I don't like this at all. Give me real Bristol.
