Mizzou, South Carolina, Kentucky, and Vandy are all terrible. If we take care of business against Florida, that Georgia game could be for the east.

UF/USCjr/Mizzou/UK seem to all be in that second tier right now. I'd definitely put UGA and UT as 1a/1b respectively. All 4 of those teams are really underwhelming.

Other than Bama, UT can win every game the rest of the way.

The good news? USCe and UK are basically locks now. No reason Vols should not win 8 games.

At this point, if we finish at anything under 8-4, I think the season can be considered a disappointment. That may change, but the East is a joke and if we lose 5 games on this schedule, that means we're losing to someone we really shouldn't.

Although saying that, I may have to change my mind because I have no idea what Mizzou team we'll see in November.

The Florida game is always a good predictor for the rest of the season. It sets the pace as the SEC opener.

Except for 2007. If I remember correctly, we got blown out by the gators, but still won the east.

It's definitely a must win for UT to be in the race. If they beat Florida, the east may be decided in two weeks.
