There's always an * when UT gets a win with our fan base, no matter how much they win by. We could go 15-0 this season, win the national championship, and someone will whine, complain, and discredit the team.

Are people actually not happy about the game? I am looking at in terms of how excited i should be for this team...definitely happy about this win, but despite a 3 td victory over a quality opponent, i'm still not sure "we're back" based on the way we played

"We're back" to me means that we are in championship games and big bowl games. This year is a great opportunity to show that we're back to being an elite team, but as of right now, the team has to go out there and prove it. We'll find out in December.

There's nothing I've seen the past 2 games that makes me think that we can't go 10-2. We do need to improve, but I still think we're going to have a good year.

Exactly. Bama will beat us, A&M good chance, then who? Georgia with their super impressive victory yesterday? Florida because they beat 2 basketball schools? Sure we have flaws but so does everyone else.

But but but.....we suck and the world is ending. Dobbs TD passes aren't perfect enough and Hurd only gets 5 yards with ten guys on his back and and they gave us the last game so it doesn't count.

I'd rather go hang out at Vandymania than post in the FF.

We're either the best team in the world playing the hardest teams ever and everyone hates us, or we're the worst team in the world that will be lucky to score another TD this season.

It's comical to see the responses in the FF. I wonder why people even watch this team if it brings them so much misery. My God, we scored 31 straight and won by 3 TDs and people are pissed. I just don't get it

I wonder how long some of these people have been fans or even have watched football, or heck sports in general. I remember when winning was the measure of the game and how you won or how you played wasn't nearly so scrutinized.

It's like once the BCS era got going suddenly winning wasn't enough, you had to be flawless every game. But every freakin' team goes through it, every good team every year either struggles to beat a team they should beat or they even lose. People do realize that there is a reason only 1 or 2 teams tops every year end the season undefeated, right? And of those 1 or 2 teams, neither blew out every team they played, even the Vanderbilts.

I mean I get it, I want to win championships, but in my time on this earth I've only witnessed 1 National Title and 5 Conference championships, 1 of which I was barely old enough to know what was going on. 2001 was the only other year where we had a legit shot at even playing for the NC. It's been almost 20 years since our last SEC Championship and almost 10 years since we even won the East. We just went through the worst period of football in about 40-50 years and we have fans mad because 11-2 might be our record?

Wut?
