If Arkansas beats Florida next week, Tennessee is back in it. But at this point, Tennessee has to win out and Florida has to lose to Arkansas AND LSU. Longshot.....but possible

But at this point, I would hate to make it to Atlanta in that manner.

I didn't hate it when we backed into the championship game in 07, and I wouldn't hate it now.

UT wouldn't fire Butch, even if the wheels came off and the team finished 7-5, 8-4. The UT admin will give him another season. The FF needs to stop drinking.

We have some really, really dumb fans.

Same fans going off today would be talking about how we'll beat Alabama if we had somehow gotten the game to OT and won last night.

Hell if UF loses 2 more and we win the East, they'll still say we'll upset Alabama and make the playoffs. No we won't.

Not all 4 year trials are equal. To me, it really depends on what the problems are. The team looks totally unprepared every week. We make so many mistakes. No matter who we play, we play below their level for the first 1-3 quarters. Another year isn't going to change these problems.

If there is anything I'll sort of be fair about, is I think the team was overhyped. While winnng the East was the goal, I always thought it was moreso because the division was still very weak. I never really thought were were an actual playoff team. I get winning the SEC usually gets you into the conversation but even if we ended up 11-2 and won the SEC, I never thought we'd actually win the NC. The people talking this team as an NC were pretty much out of their minds IMO.

Having said that, we're still worse than I thought were overall, and not just record wise. We've looked bad all year and in all honesty should have at least 1 more loss, if not 2.

Believe me, I agree that next season will be more of the same, and we as fans will have to suffer through it.

I'm glad to have Kelly be our lead back next year. That dude runs at one speed and it's fast. Hopefully next year we can stay away from major injuries and we hve a new OC. I'm actually more optimistic about next year than I was. I like Dobbs and appreciate everything that he has done, but I won't be that sad to see him leave. QD and JG, whoever wins the battle will be an improvement for our throwing game. Jennings will put up some numbers next year.

I'd have to think next years offense will at least be better. QD or JG have to be able to throw better than Dobbs (it's hard to be worse IMO). We have Kelly at RB and decent weapons at WR. Of course the OL will have to improve for any of it to matter.

I know he's not as big as Shaq, but when Frank Thomas sits next to regular folks it seems like he's as big as Shaq.
