The Official Off The Trump Train Thread

No just a statement of fact dink. People could literally make more money by not working than working. Time to get back to work. Based on you breaking camp I believe you agree.

I broke camp because I detest a lack of work and the opportunity to return to work finally presented itself. Money isn't of paramount importance since I'm a bachelor with no dependents. It's why I drink my weight in good scotch every week ;-)

Even when I had time off, I spent most of it pushing my body and exerting myself for most waking hours. It's what I know.

To be honest once the private sector finds balance again I might seek new ventures. Housing market is going to crash. I might take up flipping houses again.

Tell me how that Galveston market reacts and you and I can go into business!

If they would stop with the idiotic distancing and capacity fear, things would be normal by the end of June --
It’s going to take the public to realize that more positive tests isn’t a bad thing necessarily. Especially if, like it’s currently doing, driving hospitalization and death rates down. Of course now all you see is “oh the horror” x number tested positive here.

This whole fear mongering messaging over reaction will not be viewed kindly 5 years from now in the rear view mirror of history.

Yep! But there are a certain few set of Governors hell bent on keeping their law abiding citizens locked down while the non law abiding citizens burn their metropolitan areas to the ground.
Yeah I know I live in Illinois and that scumbag Pritzker is one of them

That's cool. Just 50/50 fund it and trust me to turn your assets into more assets.

I could do with some beach time.
All my spare dinero is going to paying off my mortgage then I’ll buy in and supervise you working while I sit in a lawn chair under an umbrella drinking Mai Tai’s

Looking into the extra 600. There's a bill that would extend it but doesn't seem likely. I just got a letter today that put me out til October. Looks like early July I'm going to start job hunting

Jobs aren't on the rise. People are going back to their old jobs now.
Coming back from being furloughed is not that different from being hired. In this context, it’s notable that business are bringing back those furloughed people back faster then anticipated, because it means they need them.

Yes it is. A furloughed employee is an inactive one. They still have the same hire date and status as before they were furloughed. A new hire is a person brought into the organization to fill a open job requisition. Technically, furloughed jobs are not lost.
