The Official Philadelphia Eagles Thread

Mccoy finally looked like himself last night. Any word on Sproles?

BC, if I might ask what your Philly ties, if any? are you also a Phillies fan?

I admire anyone that has roots somewhere and cheers for that area. As an Upper East Tennessee native growing up, I had absolutely no roots and without knowing any better as a kid, my chosen teams aside from UT obviously, are all over the map. Just curious.

From as early as I can remember, I have always been an Eagle fan. I was a big fan of Reggie White, Jerome Brown, and Ricky Watters, so I think those players had a lot to do with my fandom when I was young. Then I was stationed there for a few years and just fell in love with the sports there....excluding the Phillies, just never liked baseball that much.

That's cool. I have a friend that attended Temple for a bit. He loved the sports scene there, did adopt the Phillies, but hates the Eagles. Somehow the poor soul became a Bengals fan. Guess he's doing better than me at the moment though with that.

Kendricks, Kelce, and Sproles return to practice.

All-Pro guard, Evan Mathis, has been cleared to practice and will be on the practice field Wednesday. With him and Kelce coming back by week 10, should really help with the second half of the season push towards the playoffs.......................and for the Dallas series starting November 27th.

I never had an interest in following the Phillies or the 76ers while I was there nor now. It was all about the Eagles and Flyers for me.

Eagles must have taken some blocking pointers from Florida's GA Southern game last year.

...I like chip but his goaline runs out of shotgun are driving me mad.

Even though we got hosed on the spot, I still hate how we dont lineup in goal and feed it to Polk. He was a beast yesterday and should have been used in that situation. Another beef I have with the game yesterday was the 2 blatantly missed horse-collar calls and the no-call on the helmet to helmet hit on Maclin that nearly killed peterson.

....it's not ideal, but foles wasn't exactly at his best yesterday. The line being screwed up is a part of it but files has been off all season.

Sanchez did pretty much what files did yesterday. Ryans getting hurt is a killer.

Yeah, more upset about Ryans. Not only our best LB, but the leader of that defense. T Cole will need to step up and hopefully have Casey Matthews lineup up in the right position..................

That was an ugly game to watch. I had a feeling the Packers might win but not by such a large margin.

Just one game losing the the hottest team at their house. Sanchez has to be better, but our defense played very poorly today

Just one of those lumps you gotta take.

It only counts as one loss....onto the Titans.
