"Jamelle Holieway was the quarterback, and they were beating us so bad he was eating hot dogs from the sidelines," Whitver said. "That's my first memory of Oklahoma."

Those were great, great Oklahoma teams. 33-0 against everyone not named Miami from '85-'87.

I think this pic is cool
I really like this picture. However, I don't think it suits my role on this board. I think it would be perfect for VolBeef88 or Orange Pappy.

Geez, this Al Gore saying he invented the internet gets a lot of mileage. Most people don't even understand what was really said.

Al Gore said that "During my service in the United States Congress, I took the initiative in creating the internet." Bad wording maybe, but anyone who knows anything knows that he meant that he promoted it, not that he invented it. Gore was a huge part of us being able to post on Volnation.

Vincent Cerf a.k.a "The Father of the Internet" said "The Internet would be not be where it is in the United States without the strong support given to it and related research areas by the Vice President and his current role and in his earlier role as Senator."

But the Bush Administration took it all out of context and once again proved that their campaign was going to have no part in honesty and integrity. They used that and a couple of other lame things to call Gore a liar and the simple minded country went with it.

Axe to grind? We should really round up all the Republicans and put them into concentration camps............those people are so evil............ :ermm: We should all be enlightened like all Democrats are.

Leave it to the Democrats. If they could get a woman under the president's desk, they can certainly get one behind it.

Come on OE, don't be bitter just because you believe everything that comes out of W's mouth without even questioning it. That's not my fault. :p
