Rumblings about the PS5 pro being announced /released this month. They released the pro 4 in September of 2016.

I hope they come out with the all black console with red led lights but everything I'm seeing now is the white console with black strip

I normally jump all over new tech, but I am not sure I will buy into the pro this time around unless we see a real commitment from developers to take advantage of the increased horsepower. GTA6 will be my go/no-go on it as it wont be coming to PC initially.

The image literally shows a disc drive, lol.

It's likely they'll offer 2 models, same as the PS5 standard, one with and one without. But even if it's digital only, you'll be able to add the drive same as with the standard digital.

Yeah, that price isn't going to sit well with console-only gamers. But for a PC gamer like me, I think it looks really intriguing. That's the cost of what's basically a mid-range GPU now. And with no real compromises on visual quality or performance. I may go for this.

so surely that means they are actually making progress and will be launching relatively soon?

lol nope. delayed until 2026. and this was after they announced they were "feature complete" in early 2024.

Ah,man. Looks like a promising game. I get games need to be polished,but it's always a letdown when they're pushed back.

Yeah,it's leaning towards that from everything I just read about it. The game is already done,had numerous issues and delays and they need to wait 2 more years to release it. This will probably be canceled before all is said and done.

there is no reason to cancel it. they will just keep developing it and milking idiots for money.
