Final score is very deceiving, this game wasn't this close Vols dominated on the mound and left many runners in scoring position. Score could've easily been a run rule game...

I thought the starter showed some stuff at times, for a true freshman. I don’t know how many walks they gave up but it wasn’t like Hofstra…still too many. We stranded all runners we had in bases loaded situations. We made it tough by being patient at the plate. Now if those two guys are the best they got…well…but they are probably the best team we’ve played so far, which ya know, is kinda sad.
