Well to do that he’d have to win 9 natties lol. So I kinda doubt that, but it still blows my mind that he was just able to win one here given what the state of the program was when he took the job. He has literally been a miracle worker.Clark, Marin, Abernathy, the freshman pitching…..man the future is even brighter.
I said this last year, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Tony broke the record for most championships here.
Or the definition of a sound, before it was perverted like most other innocent things in our society. You love “dongs” don’t you???
The single worst slang for a homerun - bad bad bad alternative for any other homerun slang.
But whatever.
You're overreacting just like we do during the heat of the moment. They were proven wrong today, once again. Like I said, Tony knows what he is doing and if people think they know better then they should try to be a head coach in the SEC. I know Missouri needs some help so they can start applying there.
Not even:Or the definition of a sound, before it was perverted like most other innocent things in our society.
C’mon patrick...
GTFO with that BS!
I’m pretty sure it originated with OJJ using “Ding Dong” when a HR was hit back in the day and it was shortened to “DONG” as a joke.
Of course, I understand and can forgive, because most didn’t realize that Tennessee baseball was even a thing, prior to 2022...
Pertaining to players, basketball is much easier to overreact to because it’s more predicated on your physical gifts and effort. Whenever someone takes an ill advised shot, makes a bad pass, doesn’t box out, doesn’t have their hands up on defense, etc. it’s very easy to overreact because the majority of the time those things are preventable. As a coach, you could draw up the perfect offense or defense but if the players don’t execute then you look like you drew up a bad play. Baseball is much more mental and luck involved. You could do everything right on your swing and still hit it at someone and get out. Or you can make a perfect pitch on the outside corner but the hitter takes it the opposite way. The only things to overreact to in baseball are effort on defense and running the bases, and umpires.I really overreact when it comes to basketball.
Not sure why?
I think the fast paced play just sends my blood pressure and anxiety through the roof.
