The Official San Francisco 49ers Thread

Peyton has to throw a whole LOT more. I like Kaep though. I wish Peyton had his arm strength.

Oh I know, Kaep was struggling early though, just showing that he's been turning it around. Kaep isn't on Mannings level, just an interesting stat. Kaep reminds me of Cunningham great athletic ability, extremely strong arm. Luckily for Kaep he has a coach that cares about offense.

I really like the way Kaep plays. You're right about the Cunningham comparison. It seems like Roman tried to change the offense early on this season and I think it affected Kaep. I think he tried to turn him into a more pure pocket passer and that is not his strength. Kaep is a good pocket passer but I think he is more dangerous when he uses his legs and his huge arm. Having Crabtree and Manningham healthy has helped out. Them along with Boldin are a dangerous combo.

I want to see a SF vs Seattle NFC championship. Two great teams battling it out.

I agree, I thought the coaching was hampering him as well. You don't want to take away one of his greatest weapons, his legs. I have said this to a friend repeatedly, you have to just cut him loose a little. I understand part of it was probably to keep him healthy. But I've seen many more QBs get hurt getting blindsided as opposed to being tackled in the open field. With the 3 guys you mentioned and VD, Kaep has some serious weapons.

SF vs Seattle is the most exciting rivalry in football, right now. IMO

Graphic is a bit large but worthy of a look if you have not seen it.
