Agree on both points.

Additionally, get Blade back and some maturity on our young pitchers, we could be real hard for anyone to beat.

Also, Walsh, Kirby and McClauflin look like they have taken their stuff up a level.

I'll go ahead and say it.....


This team is a serious National Championship contender.

All sorts of factors can/could/might play in, but damn. This is as complete a team as I have ever seen from us. A bit concerned about throwing runners out from our catcher, and Dollanger's time to home, but somewhat fixable with a slide step. Hope they get to work on it tomorrow!

We were awfully good last yr and went pretty far...but I see this team as much better...mostly due to the offense. Last yr we were into walks, getting on base and hitting an occasional HR. This team looks far superior offensively and the pitching is every bit as good. Anything can happen in baseball but this looks like a contender. Let's sit back and enjoy this season and see where they take us. Don't wait until Omaha. Treat yourself to some good baseball right right.

Next up is James Madison. They have a potential #1 MLB draft pick, Chase DeLauter.
