I have good aural memories of Binghamton. Band I was in did a concert in Binghamton back in the '70s. I was temporarily "blind" for 2 days. It was a surprisingly intense experience to only be able to hear and not see (especially, the crowd).

Worst moment was trusting my bandmates to guide me out onstage and put my hand on the mic stand instead of onto who-knows-what! (One of those moments when all of your previous pranks played flash before your eyes.)
