What a horrible weekend I suffered. Had to endure the #4 BasketVols winning another to close out a spectacular season as they honored Zeigler, Mashack, and friends. Then had to walk 120 yards across the street dodging traffic so I could see the #1 BaseVols bomb the Bonnies, and all this with my grandson by my side. Terrible, I tell ya….just terrible.

Yep. AJ is just 8 months from surgery. Even though it was not as bad as first thought when they went in, it was still a full repair. He is a early second round prospect. They are not going to jeopardize that for a few innings right now.
Random Story: My dad made a coach pull Zander off the mound just once. After the game, they had words and the coach said Z was weak and not a team player. My dad said winning some random game in the middle of nowhere and throwing almost a 100 pitches is not the ultimate goal for Zander's 11 year old arm.

As a fan I’d love to see AJ back and throwing in games but the way Tony and his staff deal with injuries and not jeopardizing these guys future has to be a big deal for these current and future players parents , GBO !!
