...with M Island dressing?...

Beautifully played.

Are you kidding? Is it really that difficult?

Yes. I won some money from a friend of mine a few years ago in a bar on a Saturday night before the SB. Everyone knows that I is 1 and V is 5 and X is 10, at least when they're sober, but once you get up into having to deal with Ls and Cs and Ds and Ms, you can forget it.

(I am the kind of jackass who will wager his friends that people can't identify, say, Iraq and Afghanistan on a map, and then print out a world map, carry it around the bar, and go home with all his drinks paid for. You will always win money if you assume that the average idiot is, well, an idiot.)

I got a feeling 'Zona's gonna get your boys Jakez...
yeah, i can see that, it seems there are a lot of folks that have had just long enough to find a lot of reasons the cards will win.

and they are all valid.

but they all are contingent on "if".

they've disected the steeler off line and WR....there's no reaosn for the AZ defense to fear the Steeler offense. Ben makes too many bad decisions and he can lose the game for the Steelers.

Kurt warner gets rid of the ball too quick for the steeler d to get to him. their DB's can't cover AZ's WR one on one.

then there's the coaching match up....KW vs. DL.....and all this attention being paid to how well KW knows him, don't forget, DL knows KW just as well. I think the advantage KW has is he knows the off personnel on the steelers as well as the steeler off coaches.

all i can say is this....these are all legitimate reasons why the cards can beat the steelers. and i'd be lying if i said i wans't nervous. But, this team has a resolve. they've been here before. they know what they have to do. they won't be initimidated by the cards or the aura of the super bowl.

the single biggest advantage the steelers have is that they don't have to have any one or two people stand out to win the game. it won't be on Ben's shoulders to win the game. it won't be on Hines Wards hands to win the game or WIllie Parker's legs to win the game.....at least not on their own anyway. good or bad, this is a team and they will beat a team a number of different ways.....they aren't dominant in any part of the offense, but have the abilty to do what is necessary to win teh game.

Defensively, we know what that's about and i have confidence in CDL to have a game plan ready for their offense.

i still think this is a good game, where some points are scored, but i think the old addage about defense winning championships holds tru. the steelers win, not so sure about the score now though..........

It's just a momentum/feel thing with me.

I like the Steeler organization. 'Zona has the mo though...
if they had not had the week off, i would agree 100%. I think if they had played last sunday, that would have favored the cards immensely.

the week off may have interupted their flow......and the steelers need the time off...

i'm cautiously confident about this game.

Does everyone have their 3D glasses for the game? I got mine today. Supposedly, this rendition of 3D is unlike anything before. Besides some commercials the show Chuck is also in 3D Monday.

tomorrow is the big day.

i'm getting nervous.

go steelers.

Jake you should see this town(though I'm sure you have been talking to your in-laws). I cant shake this uneasy feeling of a loss tomorrow, sure as hell hope I am wrong. The Pittsburgh Public schools already have a two hour delay Monday Morning.

You play this game 10 times on a neutral field, and Pittsburgh wins what, seven times? Eight? They're clearly the "better" team, with the better resume. But you only play the game once, and Arizona sure seems to have a better chance now than the Giants had last year. But it's like politics -- once the result is in, then the whole narrative is rewritten to make the outcome seem inevitable. I like Pittsburgh to win, and even cover the seven, but it sure isn't a slam dunk.

My sentiments exactly. If this was a best of 5 or 7 series I would be extremely confident the Steelers would prevail, but with just one game, you never know what might happen. I sure didn't expect Ben to have such a bad game last Super Bowl after his strong playoff run...we still won, but the point is anything can happen.

That said, I've still got a good feeling about tonight...let's get one for the other thumb :)

Got mine... They did a special on the saturday night national NBC news and they showed the 3D commercials being done during the SB. I broke out the glasses and its pretty cool. idk since the picture is a blueish red, its weird.

Also... Chris Berman needs some new ties
