Tiny has let the D get in his head and is arguing with his teammates...unreal...we are where everyone thought we would be, but by the skin of our teeth...the next few weeks are gonna be ugly, Butch and co. better dig in and earn their money because this team is on the verge of imploding. We're playing with what we have. It will take time.

That doesn't mean I'm not nervous. A lot of the stuff Jones says is the same thing Dooley said.

It's going to take a lot more than a close game against USA to convince me.

Just about everything a headcoach says is coachspeak, the only time you ever hear of a coaches press conference is when they go off script. Jones doesn't have much to work with, I like what he's doing but it's painfully obvious we don't have the talent to be competitive or execute well. Sometimes the play on the field looks pretty good but this team has a lot of bad habits from years of bad coaching, everyone just needs to relax, we are a 5-6 win team this year and it's going to look ugly at times, that's part of rebuilding.

I'm embarrassed to see the team celebrating. There's nothing to celebrate here today.

No we didn't play well in the 2nd half. There were signs of life in the first half that we haven't seen yet, so that was encouraging. It will be a dog-fight to be bowl eligible, but if anybody is going to give up after 5 games, NEVER post here again.

There are two ways for recruits to look at this and one is that we have a great coach and you will have the opportunity to play early as opposed to waiting three years at bama or LSU.

Well, yes. But not by much, the last two coaches left the roster bare. Back in the hay day most of these starters would have been second or third string.
