I want to excuse the defense--they were on the field a lot in the first half because of our stupid offense--but there is no excuse for letting them drive the field for a TD on their first second-half possession. That was the ball game.

I wouldn't be so sure of that...a good friend of mine was on same flight with none other than Gruden himself today and said Gruden was watching first half of the game and taking notes. Apparently they talked and he's headed to Knoxville next week to check out private schools for the kids.
