Nah, he won't be on any hot seat; he was always going to get 4-5 years to rebuild the train-wreck Urban left... and we competed for the East last year, several years ahead of schedule.
As for Driskel and Murphy, I don't know how much UF football everyone here has watched, but Murphy just ran our offense considerably better than Driskel ever has, against anybody (even the preseason cupcakes).
Judging by how Driskel started out, UT may very well have won had he stayed in there; I think we got ourselves a blessing in disguise.
I feel bad for Driskel, but at the same time more optimistic about our offense going forward. Murphy was the kind of cool customer you want in a backup with 4 years experience on the team.
I was seriously impressed and pleasantly surprised.
