Our problems are simple. We have super athletes who can jump through the ceiling, but are very poor at shooting the ball. We get beat by smaller and less talented athletes, like Charleston, who can put the ball in the basket. They plug up the middle, dare us to take an outside shot, and when we get inside, put 3 on 1 to block or steal the ball. When we miss they have 3 inside to get rebounds against our taller, high jumping athletes.
Players like Williams can't even make layups because the opponent has so many bodies under the basket.
We beat some good teams before they figured all of this out. This is going to be a long year.
