Fair enough. I hope he watches the film and sees the efficacy of blitz on 3rd and long. It was pretty effective for us. But I haven’t seen a 3rd down conversion rate like that maybe ever.

I think it’s as simple as we don’t have the personnel to blitz early and often…which would force our DBs into man coverage. Occasionally, like that last play we can pull it off but if we do it too much we will get burned…we need more speed on defense. GBO!

In the end, i'm glad they got the first down from 4th and 21 or whatever it was. took the complaints away from Stoops and KY that they lost the game because of a missed facemask call.

KY got 35 first downs, 612 yards, TOP 46:08, and still lost...Unfreaking believable...

So we scored all those points in less than 15 minutes. Impressive. But need to recruit another 55 defensive guys to rotate more.

Watching this game made me feel like I was under water. Ahhh. I can breath now! Great win. We definitely fight till the end. Last years team would have quit after KY came back in the 2nd half. Actually. We wouldn’t have been in the game in the 2nd half. This years KY team is better than last years team and we are doing more with less.

We need to poach a couple of SEC caliber Offensive and Defensive linemen from LSU and Florida and maybe grab a few discontent 4/5 star guys from Bama/Georgia who are stuck as backups…transfer portal could be like magic in upping our roster talent
