The Official Tennessee @ #6 Kentucky Game Thread, 9:00 PM ET, ESPN

Should be All SEC this year. I don't know if there is another player I would take over him right now. He just used up Kentucky's big men. If the referees would call the game right they would have all fouled out.
This times 100. If you watched the game and only watched Richards he should have been called for at least 12-15 fouls. Pushes constantly and set at least 5 moving screens. The officials were total crap in the first half especially. Fulky took all the fouls and still schooled him.

From Rupp Rafters tonight. LOL!

Whether it's exaggerations, overreactions, etc or not, people/fans are going to say things whether they truly mean them or not after tonight..This loss is SICKENING. If you're a UK fan and you're not pissed and sick to your stomach after UK just blew a 17 point lead at home to Rick Barnes and Tennessee then you really must not have a competitive bone in your body. What happened in Rupp Arena tonight was embarrassing and shameful and doesn't deserve to be defended or have excuses made for it. I'm as pissed off as I have been about a UK game in a very long time..probably since the screw job we got vs. UNCheat in 2017. No excuse to be 5-7 vs. UT since 2016. I'm a UK basketball AND UK football fan. I already have to see those bastards annually beat us in October or November basically every year in football and now they're routinely handing our ass to us in basketball the last 4 years and this happened in March tonight. It's maddening. And they're being lead by a Coach that we've all trashed for years. That makes it even worse. And then add that we probably went from a 2 seed to a 4 seed and might even get screwed into getting a 5 seed after tonight just makes it sickening.

Call out the obvious trolls and people that player bash but I think everything else is warranted after tonight.
That was John Calipari's first loss on senior day since taking over at Kentucky.
He was 10-0 before tonight.
You hate to see it.

Kentucky didn't take this game seriously and it bit them in the arse:cool::D
I think they actually DID take it seriously. Fulkerson was NOT going to be denied.. I've watched a LOT of UT hoops over the years and I have a hard time remembering such a gutsy performance. Let's give credit where due!!!

It's very nice that Tennessee has won 7 or the last 12 games against Kentucky since 2016:cool:

Read the Calipari Q&A above and I will have to say, he is a class guy now. I used to not like him when he was at Memphis but since he has been at KY he seems to be much more complimentary of other teams, not blaming officials for losses etc. Not sure how many will agree but I see a different coach now.

I am happy to eat my crow. At half-time I gave up because they were 11 ahead and playing at Rupp.

One of the better performances by the Vols in past 2 years.

Honest question here...with how Fulky is playing, does anyone believe he will have a **** at the G-league or Europe?

Before this year, I felt he was a four year then a degree and job. But the way he has played this year, and another year to improve, I am beginning to think he may be playing himself into an opportunity here. The man just lays it all out on the floor and is (to me) the primary reason we currently have a winning record.

He is the reason. If he

If he develops a 3 point shot, he is NBA bound.

Barnes said at the press conference that Grant would say-- Fulky was better than all of us.

There is potential in Pons-- he is top of the country in blocked shots and I am pretty sure he leads the SEC. He was everywhere last night.

JJJ-- According to Barnes, he had been playing with an injury (and then out) just now starting to feel better and he's showing his five stars the last two games.

Vescovi has tons of potential.

These are guys that should all be back next year, right? (Unless they go early?)

I love his "neither are you" response. I've always enjoyed him at UK. He usually gives a lot of credit to the other team when they lose. Yes, he loves to hear himself talk, but most of us all suffer from that as well.

My wife is UK grad so we've tried listening to his podcast. He has good guests but often his q&a sessions with them end up being stories he tells about his experiences. We got tired of that and stopped listening.
