You may be right to an extent, he's not going to create a lot himself, he needs a big inside presence and some slashers. He's more of a slow grind it point gaurd, he lacks speed, which is why I mentioned him as being more of a set shooter. He's been really good when he can set and shoot off the pass.Maybe it's that nobody else is really a competent offensive player. Vescovi is what he is a solid ball handler that can run the offense and dish unless the players you are dishing to are below average. If someone else was a consistent shooter Vescovi would get more open looks.
The fouls by Bama are many. Hands on players, crashing into a Gaines going for a layup, physically pushing UT players around all over the floor. Tennessee plays equally rough and gets fouls called on them left and right. We have missed too many open shots but, the fouls calls are one sided for sure.
