Nah they’re fine. Bad errors happen at every level and they haven’t had many. But Curley just isn’t a natural at short. His bat is why he’s there, and Antigua can’t swing right now.

I got roasted earlier in the season for suggesting that Beam was probably our weakest potential starter and I feel comfortable with that assessment now.

As the commenters point out, he struggles to get strikeouts. While certainly an issue, the bigger issue is that he struggles to consistently get batters into ground balls vs loud outs. Batters just consistently get really good contact with him. Today, it finally caught up with him.
