Not create just push and look for spot to get fast points

I don't think we had any of those awful turnovers 35 feet from the basket tonight that occur when we are walking it up to set up a play with a pass or handoff to the wing. The one where we basically have 3 guys staring at 2 guys near midcourt.
We had a step to us. Fed the post early. Got great looks. Had another hot and aggressive start on offense with guys just playing ball and the D had energy by feeding off it, and vice versa.
Even with a few bad shots, I take it all night. We maybe had 3 bad 3's tonight? Some nights, we have 5-6 turnovers when we aren't even trying to make a move. I'll take bad shots over passive turnovers all day, especially with our rebounding.

Dude I've been waitin to be accused of quoting u but if he had been able to push and look for shot and man ahead we wouldn't be double digit losses right now

therein lies most of my frustration. The players are there. Barton is showing he can handle the ball, pass, shoot and play d. He also feeds the post well and we struggle there last year. Nothing wrong with dribbling it straight down and hitting stokes 10 seconds into the shot clock as he has pinned his man. Absolutely no reason not to play the same way all year against every team. No you don't go undefeated, but you don't lose several games either. Games that could keep us out. Again.

The way he handled being benched I'm hoping he is bout to break out. He is a good kid.

I was there for the massacre. Vols were absolutely dominant and beat a bad team like a tournament is supposed to.

Theyre playing at a very high level when they need to be. You can see their confidence increasing.

Do you think we will be able to beat Auburn next year when Bruce is down there coaching them and we are still stuck in the Conzone ?
