I understand the concern but it just sounds flat out negative. Whether its a road game or home against the worst or best team in the nation I will always have faith and believe we will win until they prove other wise

Fair enough. Again, not meant as negativity. Just expressing worry.

I separate faith/belief from expectation. I have faith in the team and will keep that faith until the clock hits 0:00, but what I expect is something totally different.

This is turning into a deep philosophical conversation. Definitely not my intention. :loco:

Everybody goes into games thinking different stuff. I'm crazy superstitious, so if something odd happens I get a bad feeling. Lol Odd thing is when I played I never got nervous, but I get nervous watching games.

I'm the exact same way. My sport is tennis, and you can put me in front of a thousand people and it'll only make me play better.

But when all I can do is watch, no matter the sport, that's when things get ugly. Haha.

My main superstition is to avoid declaring the game over before it is actually over. You can thank my Minnesota Vikings for that one. More gut-punch playoff losses than any fan should have to endure.

Mine is feeling to confident or talking trash before a game, we always lose when I talk to much. Which again is odd cause I never stopped talking trash when I played.

So you are saying we shouldn't discuss Gary Anderson? Lol

depends on which Tn team shows up but either way I think Mcrae goes for 26-30 points.GBO and play like you want to be in the tourney.

You were a trash talker, huh? Well I guess you could say you learned your lesson about it then! Haha. I only talk trash (as a fan or player) when provoked.

And yes, that would be correct. Gary Anderson and Tracy Porter would be two names I'd like to never see again, if possible. Brad Childress, too. Hahaha.

I only did it to get under people's skin, plus it made me play better. Getting older has made me more laid back, I try not to take too much serious. Obviously lol

What did Brad childress ever do too you? Great coach! Lol

Right. I figure I'll be the same way. Once I'm a little older I want take things like sports so seriously. At least, that's my hope. But for now, shutting people up is one of my favorite hobbies. :)

Brad. Oh, Brad. Let's just say I'm not in the mood to write a 200-page paper tonight. With any other NFL coach (save the obvious, like Crennel, Norv, any Raiders coach from the 2000s, Wade Phillips, etc.) we win the Super Bowl that year. I truly believe that.

I still like shutting people up. I've just learned some people no matter what you say or how you prove them wrong, won't admit it. So I kill them with sarcasm, usually makes them more mad. Plus sometimes this place needs a little humor. Lol I take sports seriously, I just tend to get over it fast. Im 35 now I can't waste time. Lol

My dads a big Vikings fan so I know all about bumbling Brad. That team was absolutely stacked a couple of his years. Dude was truly a horrible coach. I'm a niners fan myself. 10 long years of suffering before the last 2.

So true though. Look no further than VolNation for proof of that. The trolls and others can't handle the sarcasm. It's always the best way. I love making 'fire Cuonzo' jokes after each win. It's fantastic.

I may never get over '98 and '10. Childress' Vikings teams had everything besides a quarterback and a secondary. But no one could expose our secondary because we were so good up front. We finally got a quarterback, and go figure. We contended for a title. IN SPITE of ol' Brad. With Favre having the year he had, behind that offensive line, with that defense... How does a coach manage to **** that up? Deep breaths. I promised I wouldn't do this.

And don't give me that 'suffering' garbage! You won 5 damn Super Bowls! We'll take just one! Get outta here with that! :)

Troublemaking non fan. Lol

I was a huge John Randle, best interior lineman ever IMO, and Cris Carter fan best hands ever IMO. Robert Smith, Cris Carter, Cunningham, Moss, all probowlers, throw in Jake Reed. That offense was so loaded. Hey you all have lost what 4 super bowls? Lol

Auburn is bad, there's no way to spin it, but it's senior night and they'll hype it as their season tonight. Come out slow again and let them hang around and we'll regret it, get out early and this one should be over by half.

A lot of that's on trae, push the pace, get it to stokes early and often, set the tone.
