If that is his plan, so be it, but specifically in year one, I think you have to go 50/50with what you have and what you want.

Unless Tatum wakes up, our best chance to score is feeding maymon for paint points or him finding those guards off a double team

The "recruit guys that fit his system" excuse doesn't work in basketball. You can either implement an offense that works or not. These kids are MUCH better than the guys at AP and COC, and this team seems to be getting worse as the year goes on.
