We can moan about pitching all day, but we only have 2 hits. Hard to win in the SEC with only two hits. Gotta rattle the sticks.
This is true.. but you also have to realize as the coach what the margin for error is in the moment of the current game and realize when to pull someone. 4 of those 5 runs were due to Tony leaving a guy in too long and then making a bad matchup choice for the reliever twice

SEC Baseball 101. Don’t get swept on the road and win your home series and you’ll find yourself hosting in May. I know fans don’t like losing (especially series) but it’s baseball. It is what it is. A series win on the road against a team as high as KY would have moved us up the order but a series loss isn’t going to hurt us.
I agree with everything you say. I would absolutely take 1-2 going into the series. That said, I DO have concerns about the way we are going about losing. Absolutely gave Friday’s game away.

KY is a good, fundamentally sound team. We have more talent. Being fundamentally sound appears to be the difference so far.

We has 15 arms left and we arent using them. Idk what the deal is
Who!? We have Schaefer, Dallas, Phillips, Kirby, Loy and Stamos. The LHP hasn’t worked out today so that takes 67% of those guys out of the equation right now and you’re likely not turning to true FR in this situation. I was surprised to see Kirby roll out cause CTV motioned for a righty (or at least appeared to). You’re not putting tru

The only pen guys we can trust right now are Kirby and Aaron. That’s not going to be enough to get back to Omaha. Somebody else has to step up over the next month

You are basically saying they are coaching up this series better than our staff.
