Good grief. That wasn't on Maymon. There was absolutely no one open. If you want to blame Martin for inability to draw up a decent play, that's fair. But Maymon was running out of time to get the ball in - he had to unload it.

Oh my, we are stupid! You don't HAVE to throw the ball to McRae! Get the ball to a Vol, Maymon, and then we can worry about shooting it. What a blockhead! Maymon's basketball IQ would fit on the head of a pin. He had an easy dunk with 3 minutes to go and instead decides to shoot a reverse layup--and misses. Worst case he would have been fouled. That killed me. You draw up the play where everyone knows you are going to McRae. One screen isn't going to do it. They saw it coming and switched so easily. That's not on maymon. All martin.
