Shaun, I'm going to make this into a non-discussion thread. Just info and we can put other teams info too.

I did something like this last year. This looks way better, though. Good job, Shaun.

On the SEC Tournament format:

Seeds 1,2,3,4 get a double bye, and don't play until Friday.

Seeds 5,6,7,8,9,10 get a single bye and play on Thursday.

Seeds 11,12,13,14 play on Wednesday night in the opening round. (11-14,12-13)

The number on the far left is the teams RPI ranking. I think our will improve after the A&M, FL, and Mizz game though.

If the SECT started today we'd get a first round bye, have A&M in round 2, and Bama in round 3 if we won. I would love our chances in that scenario.

Ole Miss is sinking fast, fast, fast and I don't think a single person is really surprised by this either. It's amazing that teams like Bama, Ole Miss and Miss State can have a lot of talent and do nothing with it. CAK needs to go and I wouldn't be shocked to see Grant go next year if he can't do something.

Bama has been pretty good now that everyone is healthy.

I agree. They have a RPI of 58 right now with some decent wins over us, Nova and UK. The only problem is they easily could close the season going 2-3 with 3 road trips to Ole Miss, Florida and LSU. They just don't seem to get any better on the road. The game against LSU will set make or break 'em. They scored 37 points @ the Barn lol. They beat Vandy in Memorial by 4 and Georgia recently but I can't wait to see the game against LSU. No way they beat Florida or Ole Miss on the road.

I agree on Florida, but the way Ole Miss is playing I wouldn't chalk that up as a loss just yet.

Very true. Bama should get a bye so do you think going 3-2 with a road win over Ole Miss is enough for the Bamers to get the nod if they are a one and done in the tournament? Sounds like it would be cutting it close but should be interesting to see how it works out for them.

Bama getting in or not is going to be based on how the committee views Steele's absence. If they decide that him being out was the reason they went 2-5 without him then I think they're in with that scenario. If they chose to overlook it, then probably not.

Bama is currently 10-3 in conference. If they finish 13-5 (or better) I don't see how you can keep them out.

Because NCAA tourney bids are not based on conference records or rankings. Bama had some rough losses early in the season when Steele was out.
