Win! Go VOLS!
Been checking the threads for game updates and I love this board.
Scrolling through though couldn't help but notice the needless argument between to fellow VOL fans. Everyone plays a part whether a civilian or military when this country goes to war. I am in the air force and have been for the past 7 years. I have been thanked on this board more times then I have gone to sleep in my life.
With that being said I wasn't going to comment on the argument because it's not needed but for ALTIMORE/ALTIDORE to make a a$$hole comment about someones people skills when they get out of the military/war is WRONG on any level. People suffer from Post tramatic stress syndrome and that $hit is real. In every war. I go to the American legion monthly and spend time with Vets from decades of war. Most rewarding time ever spent especially since I currently serve. And it hurts sometimes seeing those vietnam vets suffer like they do. Some people will never be the same. So to ALTIMORE/ALTIDORE however you spell it, that is seriously a sad thing for someone to say.
Nevertheless GO VOLS!
I can agree with this it probably was uncalled for so I apologize for that one, but only that one. Last thing I'll say on it is that I've had many friends who have served in all different branches of our military. None of them were ever arrogant about their service. That was my only complaint to begin with.
Now back to the game.

I honestly think we have to win the tournament to get in. Jmo. Too many bad losses, and so few road wins.
I thought it wa horrible as well.
However watch the replay. Tatum slid his left foot a good 12-18 inches to the left as the contact came. Cam was way too wide and tried to close up as contact came, correct call.
You can be moving and it still be a charge.
Someone moving a few inches isn't always relevant in the block/charge if the guy is in position since it likely won't make a difference - if you blow over someone you were going to have a big ass collision whether he had moved those extra inches or not. Sometimes it does though and obviously a judgement call - and that's from the head of officiating in a recent interview.
