The Official Tennessee Titans thread IV

Maybe Callahan will be one and done. Amy likes to make rash decisions.
Do you think he deserves another year?

Probably not, there’s been nothing personal involved.

I mean unless in the season ender when they wear the Oilers uniforms against the Texans she tries to honor her dad’s legacy again, and it ends up turning into a massive route where early in the 3rd quarter a stadium at least 70% full of Texans fans, all in the Texans “H-town blue” gear, are waiving at/flicking off the owners box while chanting in unison “*** you Amy!”…or something like that.

I never advocate firing a coach after one year but Callahan just looks way in over his head as a HC
Part of going the whole “blow everything up and start over” route, unfortunately, is almost always fielding what looks like a semi-professional team the following season.
(And that’s more or less what was already done by the franchise after last year.)

Is Taylor going to hit 296?

I mean, the Titans/Oilers franchise needs something to be on the wrong side of now that the Colts own the largest comeback allowed in NFL history.

It's a pretty bad look to go apoplectic about people calling your team soft, only for your team to immediately come out the very next game with the grit of a roll of Charmin.

Yeah, a few weeks ago I would’ve said he’s definitely back next year, but I’m beginning to seriously wonder if Callahan survives this thing.

Oh look, a TD!!

Hire Kiffin. He can lose 3 games, including an inexplicable one at home, and go to the playoff every year in the NFL. Can take Dart in the 4th and reunite them in Nashville.

If we still suck, at least it would be moderately entertaining.

Eh, Kiffin-NFL’s already been a thing. It was far from even moderately entertaining.

Well, at least we might jump the Panthers in the 2025 draft order today.
They’ll already jump a spot today because of the Raiders-Jaguars game, regardless of who wins it.

(Probably ideally want the Raiders to win given the remaining schedules for each (they really don’t have another likely/easier chance for a win after this, whereas Jacksonville does)).

The way I'm looking at the tankathon standings: If the Raiders win against the Jaguars, they'll go all the way down to 7 due to SOS.
