The Official Tennessee Titans thread IV

Levis is going to make sure that Ridley doesn't get his yardage bonus.

When I hit on a topic unfortunately I'm the type of guy that will beat the issue up, but whoever decision it was to draft Levis should be taking the heat. The QB position is just not a chess piece. It is the position. Levis was a turnover machine in college, so all of a sudden somebody thought he was going to turn into Brett Favre in his 1st or 2nd year. I think Ran Carthon made the decision but I could be wrong. How does anyone think that they will get it right with a high draft pick? There is not a college QB worth it this year.

The Titans would want to trade down because there isn't a QB that's worth the #1 pick. But who would want to trade up if there isn't a QB worth the #1 pick?
If they end up liking one of the QBs, then they should take them regardless of what the fans want.

If this is true, the Titans will never contender. Too knee jerk firing Ran.

This would begin the circle of ineptitude. Fire the GM who didn’t pick the QB or coach, lose some more, fire the HC, give the new HC time to put in his system, lose some more, change the QB strategy because the HC didn’t pick this QB, lose some more, fire the GM again. Repeat.
