I hate to say it, but maybe they should have just considered letting Johnson score at that point.

It only becomes an 8 pt game and you’d get the ball back with all your timeouts, the 2 minute warning, and 3 plus minutes left on the clock.

Both the pass defense and the pass rush.

Or it might be one of those factors that’s going to stat with this team all year based on whatever underlying reason might be causing it (i.e., playcalling, play style, the meshing of the personnel (players) we have available on the roster on that side of the ball, etc.)
