This actually gives me some hope. Y’all remember how crappy our defense was last year when he was out? Then he came back and we balled out in the playoffs (until Kansas City).

Also. Can we talk about Vrabel purposely getting a too many men on the field penalty to give them the first but keep the clock stopped. That was huge

I remember that. Was upset at first. Then realized that it just gave us a new set of downs to try and stop em and stopped the clock. If he did that on purpose he’s a dam football genius.

He's a football genius. Remember the Pats game last year - taking penalties that used clock. Belichik was livid.

If it’s an ACL he’s done. I just hope the kid from Georgia is ready to play. We have enough talent up front to mix and match as needed, along with several tight ends who can bump block on the edge. It’s just the direct replacement for Lewan that concerns me. Dennis Kelly was horrible on the left side last year, and the dude who filled in today, can’t remember his name, didn’t inspire a ton of confidence.

Sambrailo is serviceable but will need to be helped/protected but one interesting option would be kicking Saffold back out to LT where he started his career?

I doubt the idiot from UGA is ready. There’s a reason he’s not playing
