If jets lose to eagles this week they have to get through the giants and Miami. Two tough games. If cincy loses to the ravens, which is likely, we only need another jets and raiders loss.

I think only if the Jets loss is to Miami. If it's to the Giants, I believe our record is tied with theirs, so we'd have to look at the next tiebreaker.

Cincy's loss to Baltimore would be AFC, so it would cancel out our embarrassing loss to Indy.

Oh. I see what you're saying, but you have to factor in that even if the Jets lose out, we could still be in a 3-way tie with Oakland.

if Cincy loses just to Baltimore then they finish 9-7... we finish 9-7.. so they make the playoffs because they beat us head to head.

Don't see Oakland being 9-7.

I could see Cincy losing to Arizona, though. And I am betting on them losing to Baltimore, unless Baltimore pulls starters.

I'm sure Cincy will lose one. Just not sure its going to work out where Jets go 1-1 and the 1 loss is to Miami rather than NYG, that's asking a lot.

I ran a scenario on yahoo sports NFL thing... and they only way I could get the Titans in the playoffs was with Cinci and NYJ losing out... wasn't giving the Titans the 3-way tie anymore.. even had Oakland in a 4-way tie and it was giving Oakland the last spot.

actually just kidding - I had the Jets beating the Eagles on accident- seemed like the Titans got in on most 3 way ties.. if it was a 4 way tie then Oakland got in on one scenario that depended on the NYJ losing to either the NYG or Miami.. Titans got in if they lost to Miami.

Munchak? I disagree. Everyone knew this was going to be a transitional year and I think he has exceeded expectations, we are much more competitive than I thought we would be regardless of this loss.

Don't worry. There will be more than 2 9-7 teams. Just hoping there's not any 10-6.

Positive news is the Raiders blew a lead, and their game field goal fell short, and the Eagles demolished the Jets.

It's do or die week for the Titans vs the Jags.

They need to win, need the Cards to beat the Bengals on the road which seems way more likely than it was 8 weeks ago because Cards beat the 49ers plus playing their best Football of the year if they don't we are eliminated.
