The Official Tennessee Titans thread

Why hasn't CC interjected a complaint about use of the term "strippers" into this thread?
As I remember that incident, Charles was objecting to people assuming that all exotic dancers are prostitutes. I don't remember him objecting to the use of the term "strippers."

It looks like the Titans may have fell into some money at a good time. They are leading/coleading for Nate Clements, Patrick Kerney, and Donte Stallworth. All 3 of this would fill a void if we can sign them. What would we go after in the draft if we landed these 3? Safety? OL? DT?

None of this has been proven true. In fact, I highly doubt it is true.

Felony Jones has already said he was "making it rain" with 81 thousand dollars "for effect". What an arse hole. I'm not striphoe supporter or anything, but when stripper sees money on ground, stripper grab and put in g-string or somewhere else. You cannot, as a patron, pick the money up. This isn't Wackman's own personal rap video. Dude is a clown and I hope the Oilers cut him.

Obviously if that scenario were to play out with all three of those guys being signed, that'd definitely open the door for the Titans to go after those last three positions plus whatever else they want in the draft. Maybe even go after another corner with Pacman's tenuous position with the team.

From what I understand, Nellie is the one that started the money-tossing. There's just as much reason to believe a member of his entourage is responsible for any violence.

reviewjournal.com -- News - Warrant includes details of club melee, shootings

What a moron. For effect. Yes, for effect.

Again, what a moron. You make it rain in your house, you pick up the money. You make it rain in a crackdancer bar, YOU CANNOT PICK THE MONEY UP.

I guess all the FelonyMan apoligists think it is okay to "lay down" money in a strip club and then take it back. That is moronic and yall must be in high school still and don't know hoe bar customs or something.

Your vocabulary is astounding. That being said, apparently the "making it rain" stuff had been planned in advance. Partygoers were informed that they would get their money back. Apparently, not all of the strippers were informed that the money wasn't up for grabs. Thus, trouble ensued. I'd really like to know how much money Nelly was tossing around. He's significantly more wealthy than Pac Man. I've heard Jermaine Dupri was also there.

Well if my vokabulury is the worst thing about my post(s), I'll take it.

If you put money down in a strip bar, you don't expect to get it back. I don't see how this is hard to understand....If you choose to believe that he was at a skank club in the early morning hours, "made it rain" on some strippers and did it for effect, you may want to worry less about my vocab and more about you own personal logic.

Stripper sees money, she takes.....get it?

Basically WackMan is a weak arse poser/wanna be gangster.

personal logic.

How's this for logic: If you rent out an establishment and hire special strippers for the event, you should expect to be able to do whatever the hell you want. It's not like he just walked into Last Chance in Knoxville and dropped a few hundreds on the stage. As for Pac Man being a poser, I think his previous record proves that is false.

Sign Clement, re-sign Bennet, sign Kerney, cut Pacman, draft Meachem, draft Chris Houston or J-Wade in 2nd or 3rd round then draft Weddle from Utah. Holes filled

I don't think Wade will be ready to play next year. I'm not sure how long Chris Houston will be around in the draft. Also, I think the Titans need help at safety. As long as Lamont Thompson is back there, the secondary will never be totally solid.

Yes, he does have a previous record, so calling him a total poser is probably not fair.

There were other patrons at the strip joint other than Nelly and Wackman...it wasn't just primarily rented out for them...therefore, it's not a rap video or something...it is a place of business...a place a business that primarily employs meth heads and ladies "stripping to pay for college"....EVERY straight man knows a stripper will do ANYTHING for a dollar bill, so why would you, in a regular working strip club, lay 81k on the floor or stage or g string and expect it back...that is stupid. He should be punished for his stupidity.

Weddle, the most underrated safety in football. Houston's stock has blown through the ceiling, however, I was wishful thinking. Wade probably isn't ready, but give him a year to get acclimated and he'll be ready. Wish he would have quit track sooner

I'm not familiar with Weddle. If he really is good, then that would be a big help for them.

He did it because the guy promoting the event asked him to do it and assured him he'd get it back. It sounds like there was just a mixup with the strippers.

Was it even the strippers picking up the money? I thought I read somewhere that some of the other employees of the club started picking up the money at some point?

From what I understand, the imported strippers were prepared for the "making of rain". The normal strippers at the club weren't made aware.

Man, you need to wake up and smell the coffee. Jones is a disaster waiting to happen and the faster the Titans can get rid of his a$$ the better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't even like the Titans. It just seems like there isn't much to indicate he did anything wrong, but a lot of people are ready to give him the chair.

He played receiver, safety, corner and tailback and a little QB too. He's an athlete and seems to get forgotten after Landry and Nelson are talked about
