It makes zero sense. Especially with the 9 hole hitter coming up. What’s the logic? A base hit scores a run from 2nd anyway. So you give up an out to put the 9 hole hitter in the position of having to get a hit to get a run…instead ot having 2 outs to get one hit.

It’s stupid.

UGA got a double close to the wall. Than a RBI single. I’m not sure exactly if the CD misjudged the pop up but he wasn’t able to make a play.
