Completely fooled and turned it on the ump. That’s a strike all day regardless and way too close to take with 2 strikes. That’s the stuff that makes us look dumb and irritates the hacks in blue.

The ump is not obligated to grant time and under the new rules, if the pitch clock is under 10 seconds, he *can’t* grant time

Exactly. Umpires generally are nit granting timeout. Al stand in there and swing the bat. They should know by now that time will likely not be granted. Just asinine. And now Moore follows that with an error.
