I'd be willing to bet that if Pearl were on the sidelines we win by 15+ tonight. It wouldn't have even come close to being down to the wire. He would've had those 7 players with their tongues hanging out. Guaranteed.

Any team worth a damn has beaten Vandy this year. Except, of course, UT.

Well, yes. I actually thought I could even coach this lineup to a NCAA bid. How can we ask or expect more talent and potential than what this roster has? Moderators were talking about McRae possible NBA player, Stokes being NBA bound, then we have a small version of Barkley (Maymon).

I really think our PG play killed us tonite. Barton played too much and thompson wasn't on his game for some reason. Maybe not enough PT for him?:bad::bad::bad:

If we can't make THE tourney this year, can we even have a break even record next year with Martin? Jus askin!

Everyone compares pearl to martin. Pearl made three sweet sixteens. Martin cant even make the tourney. Why dont we all just admit we need someone else. A winner and maybe even pearl if possible. I want to win and martin cant get it done.

not if the incoming guys dont contribute quite a bit. And if Stokes leaves along with McRae and Maymon, not sure where the top scoring is supposed to come from.

Well Tn rpi just went up to 20 and we are looking at a 6-9 seed, This loss did not hurt our tourney chances. All is good.

I figured I would go ahead and give the good news about the loss. The bad news Martin is still the coach.

I wish Dave Hart would come out and publicly proclaim support for his basketball coach. Then I would know Cuonzo's time was running out.

If Dave Hart fires Cuonzo sooner rather than later, we'll know he gives a damn about UT basketball. If he allows him to remain after this season, we'll know he doesn't.

Cuonzo is going nowhere until maybe after next season. Might as well buckle up, it's going to be a long and rough ride.

Stopped watching this mess at the half, pretty obvious that this game was done. This team does not respond to being behind especially on the road!
